After the surprise questioning of an "Heir" in the USA just last September, the revelation of the existence of our beloved parents' 37 year old bank account in the states accidentally slipped out in the open and became known to the few uninformed. Allegations were made that the depletion of funds were properly authorized.

Surprising as well, a connection with another "Heir" in Manila was established and confirmed by the same "Heir" in the USA after so much denials. Apparently, there was a collusion between the two "Heirs" to siphon off the funds of our parents bank account in the USA.

BUT WHY? WHY? If the withdrawals by both "Heirs" were authorized as alleged, WHY did our beloved mother cry out loud to her oldest daughter, Evelyn, who was never even entrusted with it in any manner and moreso, not even aware of its very existence, asking her "What happened to the funds of my bank account in the states."

The "Heir" in Manila denied having any knowledge of its existence. But then again, WHY reprimand our beloved mother for revealing the existence of the bank account to Evelyn? The "Heir" in the USA, for sure received an earful from the "Heir" in Manila for the attitude to suddenly change to hostility and denials.

It is very apparent our beloved mother was seeking out help from anyone other than those whom she entrusted it to.

It is also very apparent our beloved mother may have been subjected to possible elderly financial abuse and possibly physical abuse.

It is not about money, but dishonor and abuse of parents. We never ever had the desire to keep up with the joneses.

I apologize to Mama and Papa for not yielding to their plea for me to go back home. Now, I understand why.

Please, this is my last plea to all to provide photocopies of all titles and financial statements of banks here in the USA and Philippines. Hindi po ako "naninindak lang."
